Home Inspection

When completing contract for purchase you will notice an important contingency that is referred to as the “inspection contingency”. You have the right to an inspection on the property to ensure that you are aware of exactly what you are purchasing. You will receive a short period, usually 5 to 10 business days, to have a home inspector inspect the property to evaluate the condition of the home, structure, mechanics, and appliances. You will receive an inspection report once the inspection is complete (usually within 24 hours) for you to review with your agent and attorney to decide if any adjustments need to be made or if you want to cancel the contract.
