Educational system

Glendale Heights has been divided into several school districts and each region is responsible for providing education to a particular target segment.  Glenbard Township district 87 serves students up to K-8 under school districts 15 and 16.  Students of K-8 from region 15 and 16 have the facility of a public library available to them, which is known as the Glenside Public Library District.

Air travel provision is provided by Chicago O’Hare International Airport which is situated approximately 20 minutes to Glendale Heights.

Artistically designed parks and playgrounds are one of the biggest attractions to this place.  Some well-known parks include, Americana Park, Siems Park, Circle Park, Ollman Park, Reskin Park, Veterans Memorial Park, Camera Park, Glen Hill Park, Pheasant Ridge Park, Heritage Park, Nazos Park, and Gilberto Park.  There is an indoor soccer arena at the Sports Hub.  For shopping lovers, no other place could do them justice other than the Glendale Heights Town-Center Shopping Center and Glendale Plaza Shopping Center.  A sports center is also present in Glendale Heights that can cater to the needs of indoor soccer players and soccer fans.
